About the position

The University of New Mexico (UNM) Los Alamos is seeking to hire Temporary Part-Time faculty to teach online and/or face-to-face Anthropology courses at the 1000 or 2000 level. This recruitment is ongoing and will continue into the Summer 2024 semester. The availability of positions is contingent upon student enrollment levels and current course offerings, meaning that positions may be filled or eliminated each semester based on these factors. Applicants who are hired from this requisition will also be considered for future openings as they arise. The Los Alamos Branch of UNM is a two-year campus located approximately 90 miles northwest of Albuquerque, focusing on teaching excellence and providing academic transfer courses, as well as vocational and technical courses to the local community. Strong preference will be given to candidates who reside in New Mexico, and classes may be offered either online or in person depending on the circumstances. Further details regarding employment can be found in the UNM-Los Alamos Faculty Handbook.
