About the position

The Merchandising Operations Analyst position is a temporary role focused on managing vendor requests and ensuring efficient operations within an online specialty retail environment. The role involves onboarding new vendors, maintaining standard operating procedures, and supporting process improvement initiatives while working in a hybrid capacity.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for vendor requests, managing responses within Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators focused on system speed and quality.
• Onboard new vendors and setup of promotions by validating data and ensuring accurate integration.
• Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures to reflect internal processes.
• Communicate with stakeholders, resolving issues, and handling escalations.
• Track and analyze KPIs and monitor queue status using relevant tools.
• Support process improvement initiatives through test documentation, execution, etc.
• Perform ad hoc duties as needed and assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a similar field.
• 1+ years of relevant experience, demonstrating an innovative approach and measurable impact.
• Results-driven with a strong ability to respond promptly.
• Experience using dashboards to track KPIs.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Proven ability to thrive in a team-oriented setting.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Experience with customer service.
• Familiarity with CRM software and Atlassian tools.
• Experience in eCommerce or merchandising.
