This is a part-time Teller position. The essential functions include accepting deposits, verifying cash and endorsements, and issuing receipts. The role also involves cashing checks, cross-selling the Bank's services and products, processing night deposit bags, and issuing bank checks and gift cards. Additionally, the Teller will accept loan payments and safe deposit box rental payments, answer customer inquiries, provide balances, and balance transactions at the end of the day, verifying cash totals. Additional responsibilities may include reviewing deposit file maintenance for accuracy and authenticity, assisting the Head Teller in training, vault maintenance, scheduling, branch opening and closing, and ATM servicing. The role also requires completing logs and forms for Bank Secrecy Act compliance, such as Currency Transaction Reports, suspicious activity reporting forms, monetary instrument sales logs, and logs for transactions of $3000 or more. Completing funds availability hold notices and stop payments in accordance with Bank and regulatory requirements are also part of the duties. The position may involve other assigned duties.
