About the position

The Teller Systems Analyst will analyze and support the company's operating applications to ensure optimal performance and integration of resources within the technological environment. This role involves supporting upgrades, testing, operational tasks, and documenting programs for operating systems and applications, with a focus on improving processes and ensuring high availability of assigned applications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for assigned applications, ensuring high availability.
  • Perform hands-on and remote troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Proactively identify application or system issues to improve availability and performance.
  • Maintain ownership of incidents through resolution to exceed application Service Level Agreements.
  • Complete projects, coordinate with team members, and provide status updates.
  • Assist in the initial phases of application systems analysis and programming activities.
  • Track problems and bugs, communicating with customers as resolutions are implemented.
  • Support internal business units, maintaining and setting up processes for assigned applications.
  • Stay current on security-related issues and analyze their impact on UFS, making recommendations for security management and monitoring processes.
  • Generate and maintain virtual servers; perform vulnerability management.
  • Provide problem-solving support for applications for internal and external customers.
  • Train end users on the final product and create/maintain technical business process documentation.
  • Conduct Windows Server testing for application patches and upgrades to MS SQL and DB2.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL and IBM DB2.
  • Experience with MS Windows Server.
  • Previous experience in the banking industry is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Fiserv Premier is a plus.
  • Knowledge of risk and security practices relating to workstations and servers.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
