About the position

The Telephone Interviewer position at RAND Survey Research Group involves conducting structured calls to health care providers to encourage participation in a web survey. This role is remote, part-time, and temporary, with a focus on maintaining high-quality communication and adherence to study protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structured calls to health care providers to remind and encourage them to complete a web survey.
• Confirm and update contact information for health care providers.
• Follow study protocols and strict quality control procedures during calls.
• Utilize CATI (Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviewing) systems for conducting interviews.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Clear speaking voice and professional telephone manner.
• Familiarity with health care settings is a plus.
• Good telephone interpersonal skills to establish rapport with participants.
• Comfort talking with people from diverse backgrounds about sensitive topics.
• Good computer skills; experience with CATI systems is helpful.
• Ability to work in a production-oriented, closely monitored structure.
• Ability to read scripts verbatim and adhere to strict quality control procedures.
• Availability to work 18-30 hours per week during scheduled six-hour shifts.
