About The Position
The Technology Specialist will be responsible for supporting, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing hardware and software in labs, offices, and the Technology Service Center.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and 60 hours of college credit
- Driver’s license
- One to five years of experience with MS windows, MAC, or Linux and application software
- Customer service experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and install microcomputers, printers, projectors, Audio/Visual systems, wireless interfaces, tablets, and specialized input/output units
- Troubleshoot, install, and support end-user usage of microcomputer software and updates
- Provide assistance in the Technology Service Center
- Utilize computer software imaging and deployment systems, such as MDT, Munki, and SCCM/Intune
- Maintain a mobile device management system, such as Apple school/Intune
- Coordinate with other functional areas of Information Technology
- Perform related duties as assigned
