About the position

Grieco Automotive Group is seeking motivated Automotive Technicians with varying levels of experience (A TECHS, B TECHS, or C TECHS) to join their team. The role focuses on providing high-quality automotive repair services while ensuring customer satisfaction. Technicians will be responsible for diagnosing issues, executing repairs, and maintaining a clean and organized service environment.

Responsibilities

• Explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals, including teammates and customers.
• Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Demonstrates general automobile knowledge on various manufacturers.
• Test-drives vehicles and tests components and systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Continuously learns new technical information and techniques to stay updated with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintains an organized and clean service department.
• Reads and comprehends instructions and information.
• Maintains a professional personal appearance.
• Communicates solutions effectively to others.
• Performs any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• ASE Certifications or equivalent certifications required.
• Automotive Service Tech experience required.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate solutions to others.
• Integrity, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic are required.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• CDK knowledge is helpful.
