About the position

The Service Technician at Westmor Industries is responsible for installing, programming, repairing, and troubleshooting Windows-based point of sale systems and petroleum equipment at customer locations. This role involves providing training to customers on newly installed equipment and ensuring seamless integration tailored to site-specific needs. The technician will work both independently and collaboratively, contributing to the dynamic and innovative environment of the company.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, repair, and troubleshoot Windows-based point of sale systems and petroleum equipment on customer locations
• Train customers on newly installed equipment and networks
• Set up custom configurations based on site needs
• Work independently and as part of a team as needed
• Repair Windows-based hardware including hard drives, motherboards, network switches, and managed firewalls
• Utilize a world-class CRM system integrated with dispatching
• Overnight weekday travel
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Service technician experience

Nice-to-haves

• Mid-level experience with Windows Firewall
• Mechanical knowledge
• Communication skills
