Responsibilities
- Support the reliability and sustainability of custom automated laboratory equipment in a high throughput environment
- Coordinate and perform preventative maintenance services and address unplanned maintenance on equipment
- Apply knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, fluidics, optical devices/systems, controls systems
Requirements
- Associate degree or two years of work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to exert 50-100 lbs. of force occasionally and/or 25-50 lbs. of force frequently
Nice-to-haves
- Mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills-including the ability to use hand and power tools
- Following diagrams, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications
- Automation equipment testing or troubleshooting preferred - including Beckhoff TwinCat/EtherCat and Unitronic or similar control systems
