About the position

The Technician Apprentice Program (TAP) Body Apprentice position at Caliber Collision is designed for individuals looking to start a career in automotive repair. This role involves learning to repair damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition using industry-approved techniques while working under the guidance of experienced mentors. The program offers hands-on training and the opportunity to develop essential skills in vehicle repair, estimation, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Repair damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition using industry-approved repair techniques.
• Learn to read estimates and identify vehicle damage.
• Follow mentor's directions while performing repairs.
• Check work for quality and accuracy.
• Complete required training and certifications related to TAP.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber's insurance policy.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous collision experience and/or Collision Vo-Tech certification.
