About The Position

Employer.com is partnering with a well-funded frontier AI company that is building the next generation of multimodal intelligence. Their technology is used by studios, enterprise brands, and developers worldwide. This is a $4B frontier AI company with a lean, high-caliber engineering organization where every hire is visible and every pipeline decision matters. The engineering teams being built here span product, infrastructure, reliability, and security, and the sourcing function is a direct contributor to that build. A strong sourcer here owns meaningful outcomes and works with direct access to recruiting leadership. We are looking for a contract technical sourcer with a track record of building quality pipeline for Staff-level and above software engineers across core engineering disciplines.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of technical sourcing experience with demonstrated success at the Staff level and above
  • Sourcing network built across frontier AI, defense tech, developer tools, or enterprise infrastructure companies
  • Experience operating in a high-hiring-bar environment where signal matters more than volume
  • Proven ability to engage passive senior engineering talent through personalized, targeted outreach
  • Familiarity with core engineering disciplines: product software engineering, infrastructure, SRE, security, and data infrastructure
  • Startup or high-growth company experience required
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities
  • Bay Area local preferred for in-office engagement and presence 3 days/week MWF in office
  • Available to start within 1-2 weeks

  • Very strong remote candidates considered for contract role but won't be in consideration for conversion.

Responsibilities

  • Own top-of-funnel sourcing for core engineering roles.
  • Identify, engage, and qualify passive senior engineering talent across product software engineering, infrastructure, inference, SRE, security, and data infrastructure.
  • Work directly with the hiring manager.
  • Develop outreach strategies tailored to each role.
  • Qualify candidates against a high bar.
  • Maintain clean pipeline data throughout.
  • Build targeted candidate lists.
  • Develop and execute personalized outreach sequences.
  • Screen for technical signal and role fit.
  • Prepare candidate summaries for hiring manager review.
  • Iterate on sourcing strategy as priorities shift.
