About the position

The Technical Services Project Management Level 2 / 3 position at Northrop Grumman involves providing organizational and technical leadership across the Digital Manufacturing Technology thrust. The role includes managing project development through production transition, mentoring team members, and ensuring project goals, objectives, schedules, and costs are met while adhering to company policies. The project manager will work on advanced manufacturing technologies and solutions, interfacing with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide organizational and technical leadership across multiple sites.
  • Manage project development through production transition.
  • Mentor team members and manage project goals, objectives, schedules, and costs.
  • Define, develop, implement, and transition new technology solutions to manufacturing.
  • Evaluate performance of processes and tools to verify efficiency.
  • Identify and initiate corrective actions for problems and deficiencies.
  • Interface with internal and external customers, program offices, and engineering disciplines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in science with 1+ years of experience in aviation, systems engineering, aerospace, or manufacturing/production; or a Master's degree with 0+ years of experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Program and/or Project Management.
  • Experience using ERP systems.
  • Strong familiarity with process development and controls.
  • A current and active DoD Secret level security clearance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field or Advanced Degree.
  • Current Special Program Access.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS-Project, Visio).
  • Experience working with IPTs and various customers such as Air Force and Navy.
  • Proposal experience and experience in early phases of program lifecycle.
  • 3+ years of experience in Earned Value Management.
