About the position

The Search, Summarize, and Insights Technical Product Manager will lead the development of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Generative AI workflows aimed at enhancing knowledge management and generating insights from unstructured data. This role focuses on delivering tailored solutions for text understanding, particularly in drug discovery and development, while collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure the strategic vision is realized. The position emphasizes software product reuse and innovation, enabling faster delivery of future workflows and experimentation with new ideas.

Responsibilities

• Drive the development of NLP and Generative AI workflows for knowledge management.
• Lead the delivery of tailored solutions for text understanding use cases.
• Collaborate with technical leads and stakeholders across the organization.
• Ensure the adoption and evolution of the strategic vision in NLP and AI.
• Engage with users and sponsors of data science, ML, and AI products.
• Implement and standardize ML/LLM Ops for model evaluation and monitoring.
• Present approaches and their impacts to internal and external audiences.

Requirements

• Experience with product management and delivery of data- or ML-driven products.
• Experience leading agile software development teams and best practices.
• Knowledge of technical software development and deployment best practices.
• Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) management.
• Ability to engage cross-functional teams and stakeholders effectively.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
• Experience with programming in Python and full-stack software development.
• Familiarity with DevOps tooling and ML/LLM Ops tooling.
• Knowledge of data engineering approaches and frameworks.
• Working knowledge of statistical learning and NLP contexts.
