About the position

The Technical Implementation Manager at Flywire is responsible for engaging with project teams and clients to implement real-time integrations and build out test and production environments. This role requires a strong understanding of technical architecture, configuration, and testing of client environments, as well as the ability to ensure system performance and quality standards are met. The position is ideal for individuals with experience in student financial services and SaaS-based integrations, looking to advance their careers in the fintech industry.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the technical architecture of the ecommerce platform and configure client environments.
  • Set up file specifications and corresponding jobs for client integrations.
  • Partner with the implementation team to build out product solutions for higher education.
  • Ensure client integrations and system performance meet Flywire standards.
  • Schedule and conduct technical meetings with school IT teams to configure system preferences.
  • Produce and maintain technical product documentation for internal and external partners.
  • Collaborate with customers, Product Manager, and stakeholders to contribute to the product vision.

Requirements

  • 4+ years experience in technical software and middleware implementations.
  • Experience in Single Sign On integration, specifically with CAS and SAML.
  • Experience in configuring, implementing, and integrating software or middleware in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience in technical and functional documentation creation and upkeep.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Higher Education ERPs such as PeopleSoft, Banner, Colleague, and Workday.
  • Quality Assurance experience and training.
  • Experience in fintech or the payment industry.
