About The Position

CTG is seeking an experienced Technical Engineer V to support enterprise cloud security initiatives for our client. This senior-level engineering role focuses on Azure Cloud Security, infrastructure architecture, policy governance, and enterprise systems support within a complex financial services environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise with Azure Permissions, Azure Policy, and enterprise cloud governance frameworks. Experience with GitLab and Microsoft Enterprise Policy as Code (EPAC) is highly preferred.

Requirements

10+ years of combined higher education and/or professional experience in systems engineering, infrastructure architecture, or technical engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Security in enterprise environments.
Experience with Azure Permissions and Azure Policy management.
Advanced troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong understanding of infrastructure lifecycle management, systems architecture, and IT Service Management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Experience with GitLab and Microsoft Enterprise Policy as Code (EPAC).
Experience with additional cloud platforms beyond Azure.
Strong knowledge of server/client and virtual technologies.
Experience leading or supporting complex infrastructure and cloud transformation initiatives.
Proven ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, implementation, and support of secure enterprise infrastructure and cloud solutions.
Serve as a subject matter expert for Azure Cloud Security technologies and services.
Develop and maintain Azure Policies, permissions structures, and governance controls.
Collaborate with technology teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and support teams to deliver scalable technical solutions.
Support infrastructure architecture, systems integration, testing, and deployment activities.
Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective engineering solutions.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across project teams.
Participate in project estimation, budgeting, and planning initiatives.
Ensure compliance with enterprise risk, audit, and regulatory standards.
Promote industry best practices, IT governance standards, and operational excellence.
