As a Team Member, you will play a vital role in ensuring an exceptional customer experience by preparing high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting food preparation. This position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to excellent service.

Requirements

High school diploma; relevant training is a plus.
A naturally positive attitude and a genuine love for connecting with people.
Previous work experience as a Barista or in Customer Service.
Knowledge of sanitation regulations.
Basic math skills.
Ability to gauge customers’ preferences.
Excellent communication skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, holidays, and weekends.
Food handler certification.
Ability to stand for extended periods (90%).
Ability to walk within the café (15%).
Ability to bend and reach for retrieving products, stocking shelves, and cleaning (20%).
Ability to lift and carry objects up to 25 lbs. (20%).
Ability to reach into storage areas above shoulder level (3%).

Responsibilities

Prepare high-quality beverages, including espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty beverages, ensuring consistency and adherence to company recipes and standards.
Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service, aiming to make every guest feel valued and uplifted.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, workstations, and customer areas, including sanitizing counters and equipment.
Receive and process payments accurately via credit card.
Serve and prepare food items such as avocado toast, pastries, and muffins, ensuring quality and freshness.
Assist with general cleaning tasks, including taking out trash, sweeping, mopping, and maintaining store hygiene.
Restock ingredients, supplies, and products as needed in both front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
Deliver food and drink orders from the counter to customers promptly and accurately.
Clear and wipe down tables, return dishes to the kitchen, and reset dining areas.
Support baristas and kitchen staff during peak hours and assist with managing to-go and delivery orders.
Follow all health and safety guidelines for food handling and maintain store cleanliness standards.
