We boldly go. On-Site (5 days). Responsible for assisting with managing the manpower needs in the department, training and developing team member(s), and deploying operational excellence tools.

Requirements

  • Minimum Highschool diploma plus 2 years’ experience in a leadership role
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with others.
  • Work well with all levels of business.
  • Demonstrate good leadership skills.
  • Participate in the (TLDP) Team Leader Develop Program.
  • Demonstrate basic computer skills.
  • Has experience and knowledge of work and processes of assembly line production responsibility.
  • Use lean tools and coach and train team members to use lean tools

  • Associates preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in identifying and resolving safety and quality issues.
  • Schedule and manage designated departments/lines.
  • Use and support and coach employees to all lean tools and activities, including: Back to Basics – Lean, problem solving JDI, 9Step, and A-3’s.
  • Run MDI boards to the standard.
  • Adjust manpower as needed.
  • Assist, Coach, and Train employees as needed.
  • Encourage /coach employees to live Trane Technologies Principals.
  • Be a change agent.
  • Demonstrate positive and proactive attitude.
  • Will be required to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Follow work instructions in positive manner from Supervisors and peers.
  • Must be able to follow standard work, complete production and maintenance records and other documentation related to operations.
  • Must participate in basic problem solving, 5-S, and lean activities.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to perform the above duties with no additional training required.
  • Supports the QMS by delivering quality products and services and meeting quality objectives
  • Works to consistently meet and exceed customer requirements
  • Continuously strives for operational excellence and continuous improvement
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
