About The Position

The Team Lead - Inbound will coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and cycle counting. This role involves tracking inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records using WMS and ERP platforms, and preparing shipping documents. The Team Lead will communicate with carriers and internal teams to resolve issues, support warehouse staff, and monitor performance metrics. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives are also key aspects of this position. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Working knowledge of warehouse processes and inventory control practices
  • Proficiency in WMS, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience coordinating shipping and transportation schedules
  • Prior experience in a high-volume or multi-shift warehouse environment
  • Forklift or material-handling certification

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and cycle counting
  • Track inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on-time and accurate movement of goods
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms
  • Prepare, review, and process shipping documents (BOLs, packing lists, invoices, labels)
  • Communicate with carriers, drivers, and internal teams to resolve delays, shortages, or discrepancies
  • Support warehouse staff with work assignments, priorities, and workflow coordination
  • Monitor warehouse performance metrics (accuracy, productivity, on-time shipments) and report trends
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to layout, processes, and inventory accuracy
  • Respond to and resolve operational issues to minimize disruptions and service failures
  • Other tasks as assigned
