About the position

The Team Lead - Frames at Dover Food Retail is responsible for leading a manufacturing team in the Frames operations. This role involves coordinating activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Team Lead will conduct daily meetings, manage production methods, and maintain efficiency levels while fostering a collaborative environment focused on quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct manufacturing teams in the Frames operations.
• Conduct daily board (huddle group) team meetings focused on area performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Recommend and implement measures to improve production methods and equipment performance.
• Lead group problem-solving teams and assist workers in resolving work problems using the PDCA process.
• Prepare and execute daily start-up plans.
• Update and maintain cross-functional training matrix.
• Maintain hourly performance boards and visual display boards.
• Participate with manufacturing engineering to ensure on-time delivery through Kaizen processes.
• Lead daily Kaizen activities and document outcomes.
• Coordinate material scheduling and kitting to prevent shortages.
• Maintain 6S throughout the shift and Operator PM checklists.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Over 3 years of related experience.

Nice-to-haves

• 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• AS400 experience preferred.
