About the position

The Team Coordinator for Commercial Benefit Configuration will oversee a team of four within a large health care and health plan organization. This role requires a strong background in commercial benefit configuration and recent management experience, focusing on claims processing and SQL querying. The position is remote and is structured as a 6-month contract with the potential for hire.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of 4 individuals in the Commercial Benefit Configuration department.
  • Ensure effective configuration of commercial benefits in alignment with organizational standards.
  • Oversee end-to-end claims processing and ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Utilize SQL to query data and support team operations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of strong management experience in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in commercial benefit configuration.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end claims processing.
  • Ability to query through SQL.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
