About The Position
This position is for a Teacher Coach at Cypress Park High School, responsible for coaching Girls' Cross Country and Girls' Track. The role involves developing and maintaining a positive classroom environment conducive to learning, in addition to coaching duties. Regular and reliable attendance is essential.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognized, accredited college or university.
- Eligible for a valid Texas teacher certificate appropriate for teaching assignment.
- General knowledge of coaching techniques and strategies.
- Knowledge of University Interscholastic League (UIL) rules and regulations.
- Demonstrates leadership in working with diverse students, staff, families, and communities.
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of four (4) years of coaching experience in a formal educational setting.
- Experience as a coach in more than one sport.
Responsibilities
