About the position

Intuit is seeking Tax Associates for the upcoming tax season, offering a fully remote position for individuals with a minimum of 2 years of paid experience in tax preparation. The role involves assisting clients with their tax filings using Intuit TurboTax products, providing tax advice, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in completing their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products.
• Provide tax advice and full-service return preparation.
• Perform tax calculations and manage product/software inquiries.
• Utilize government websites and professional resources to deliver accurate answers to customers.
• Document customer interactions to maintain accurate records.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
• Ability to obtain any related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with customers.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with commercial tax preparation software.
• Strong communication skills, particularly in video and audio interactions.
