About the position

The Tax Partner for the Private Client Services (PCS) team in West Palm Beach will be responsible for generating new business opportunities while providing compliance and consulting services to established clients. This role emphasizes thought leadership, technology project contributions, and staff development and mentoring, all within a flexible work environment that promotes work/life balance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct partner-level compliance reviews and approve tax returns.
• Provide client consultations on tax planning opportunities and recent tax law changes.
• Contribute to proposal development and support new business generation efforts.
• Meet with potential clients and build relationships with both new and existing clients.
• Expand service offerings to current clients.
• Supervise firm engagements and special projects.
• Manage all aspects of client engagements.
• Oversee, train, and evaluate senior-level staff.
• Mentor and support staff in their professional development and help grow the tax function.
• Stay up-to-date on new tax issues and business trends impacting clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
• CPA or JD certification.
• 15+ years of progressive tax experience.
• 2+ years as a Partner or Director at a public accounting firm.
• 10+ years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates.
• Experience working with high net-worth individuals, family office clients, and closely-held businesses.
