Responsibilities
- Engage in business development activities (i.e. prepare proposals, present in webinars, collaborate with other service lines to market comprehensive tax strategies for prospective clients, etc.)
- Maintain communication with clients to ensure satisfaction, meet deadlines, remain current on legislative changes, and lead change effectively
- Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate Interns, Associates and Senior Associates
- Receive formal training, on the job training, direct feedback from practice leaders, and the opportunity to pursue additional training through internal and external resources.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- A minimum GPA of 3.0
- CPA preferred or licensure eligible
- 4-6 years relevant work experience with an accounting firm and preferably at least 2 years of work with Alternative Investment Fund or Fund Administrator
- Strong leadership, multitasking and organizational skills
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks
- Initiative to seek out opportunities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to interact with and gain the respect of all levels of internal and client personnel
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Proficient use of technology including MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail.
