Responsibilities

  • Engage in business development activities (i.e. prepare proposals, present in webinars, collaborate with other service lines to market comprehensive tax strategies for prospective clients, etc.)
  • Maintain communication with clients to ensure satisfaction, meet deadlines, remain current on legislative changes, and lead change effectively
  • Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate Interns, Associates and Senior Associates
  • Receive formal training, on the job training, direct feedback from practice leaders, and the opportunity to pursue additional training through internal and external resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0
  • CPA preferred or licensure eligible
  • 4-6 years relevant work experience with an accounting firm and preferably at least 2 years of work with Alternative Investment Fund or Fund Administrator
  • Strong leadership, multitasking and organizational skills
  • Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Initiative to seek out opportunities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to interact with and gain the respect of all levels of internal and client personnel
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Proficient use of technology including MS Excel
  • Strong attention to detail.
