About the position

The Tax Transformation Office serves Deloitte Tax, focused on Service Delivery Transformation inclusive of people, process, and technology in order for our Tax Professionals to deliver efficient, high value, quality tax services to our clients. Tax Transformation drives improvements across the full range of Tax market offerings focused on both Tax compliance and advisory services. This is an opportunity to be part of an innovative team within Deloitte Tax that delivers value aligned with the Deloitte brand.

Responsibilities

• Project management
• Development and management of project workplans
• Management of scope and timely delivery of business outcomes
• Identify of risks, issues, change requests, facilitate formal decision making
• Engage with Tax professionals to understand client service pain points, assess opportunities, and deliver process improvements
• Business process analysis and modeling
• Ability to apply agile and design thinking techniques to process analysis and design
• Decompose business requirements into functional requirements
• Collaborate throughout the technology delivery lifecycle
• Conduct system testing and facilitate user testing
• Business readiness assessments
• Prepare learning materials and deliver learning
• Plan deployment
• Provide hypercare
• Support pilots
• Drive adoption through change management and communication
• Analyze feedback and developing related action plans
• Decommission legacy systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or information technology related field
• 3+ years of client service experience in one or more of the following tax compliance related areas: Corporate, Investment Management, Operating Flowthroughs, Individuals, Estates & Trusts, or Indirect.
• Project management
• Strong communication skills and a champion of process and technology improvements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while delivering outstanding quality and meeting established deadlines
• Process-driven thinking
• Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on project work and phase of the delivery cycle
• One of the following active accreditations obtained: Licensed CPA, Licensed Attorney, Enrolled Agent, or various technology certifications.

• Working knowledge of data management and metrics
