About the position

The Talent Insights Consultant Senior is responsible for leading development, managing and executing Elevance Health's people and workforce analytics strategy while serving as a trusted advisor to the business. This position will work a hybrid model (remote and in office 1-2 days per week). Candidates will live within 50 miles of our Chicago, IL, Denver, CO, Atlanta, GA, Washington, DC, Indianapolis, IN, St. Louis, MO, Miami, FL and Waukesha, WI locations.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the design, execution and management of associate/employee listening and engagement strategies aligned with overall talent strategy.
  • Collaborates with business, strategy and IT teams to develop, communicate and implement advanced analytics solutions which generate business value.
  • Coaches, mentors, guides and supports junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the Talent Insights team.
  • Advises leaders and teams across diverse and complex organizations to enhance data fluency and analytical capability.
  • Utilizes sophisticated data mining, analytics, interpretation, and statistical modeling techniques to drive improved workforce outcomes.
  • Leverages advanced data modeling and analytics methodologies to produce insights and solutions.
  • Crafts and maintains dashboards, scorecards, metrics, and indices associate listening and engagement, workforce, and business objectives.
  • Interprets data implications for organizational performance, offering expert recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Promotes and trains internal stakeholders on the usage of dashboards and interactive analytic reporting tools.
  • Partners closely with Human Resources, Talent, Culture, Change Management and Transformation, and other business units to assess needs and formulate analytics plans.
  • Articulates study findings and actionable recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Highlights specific outcomes or metrics used to measure success in previous roles.
  • Emphasizes cross-functional collaboration experience with departments like Finance and Operations.
  • Stresses the importance of fostering a data-driven culture.
  • Addresses ethical considerations in data handling and compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Makes recommendations for workforce solutions.
  • Partners with internal clients to enhance organizational success by adding context and relevancy to analytical information.
  • Connects people, process and system data to performance outcomes.
  • Interprets and explains the implications of data on performance and the business.

Requirements

  • Requires BA/BS in business or math related field and a minimum of 10 years data collection and analysis experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced expertise in predictive analytics and statistical methodologies strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools such as R, Python, SQL, Excel, Tableau, and Power BI strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional ability to analyze both structured and unstructured data and translate findings into actionable business insights strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills for crafting data-driven recommendations tailored to varied audiences preferred.
  • Proven experience in organizational performance improvement and employee listening and engagement analytics preferred.
  • Ability to connect analytical insights with business goals preferred.
  • Advanced capabilities in data science languages and analytics tools preferred.
  • Proven track record in leading and developing high-performing teams preferred.
