In this role, you’ll manage full-cycle recruiting, partner closely with hiring leaders, and help shape an exceptional candidate experience from first conversation through onboarding. As a key member of our Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence (COE), you’ll also support employer branding initiatives, build strong talent pipelines, and represent WVC within the local community—helping us attract top talent who share our mission and values. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, with the ability to manage multiple requisitions
  • Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish/English strongly preferred
  • Experience recruiting in healthcare, skilled nursing, or high-volume environments is a plus
  • Experience with social media sourcing and community-based recruiting preferred
  • SHRM certification a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned positions, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer coordination
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, timelines, and candidate expectations
  • Deliver a professional, engaging, and respectful experience for every candidate
  • Proactively source talent using job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and community partnerships
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for high-volume and hard-to-fill roles
  • Support recruitment marketing and employer branding initiatives
  • Represent WVC at career fairs, recruitment events, and community outreach activities
  • Ensure accurate documentation and timely updates in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Coordinate pre-employment processes, including background checks and required documentation
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, People & Performance, and HR partners to ensure a smooth transition from offer to onboarding
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations, and internal policies
  • Support reporting, audits, and continuous improvement efforts related to hiring activities
