About The Position

PEPL, Inc. has been engaged to place a Talent Acquisition Lead for a client in the Atlanta area. This role involves building strong partnerships with hiring managers, business leaders, and HR to support workforce planning and hiring needs. The Talent Acquisition Lead will develop a deep understanding of the client’s culture, values, and roles to effectively communicate their story and opportunities to prospective candidates. This position requires managing 3-6 unique concurrent open requisitions across various departments, including field, Project Management, Estimating/Preconstruction, and corporate functions like Accounting/Finance and HR. The role demands adapting priorities in a fast-paced environment while ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. Maintaining consistent communication with candidates and stakeholders, tracking recruiting metrics, and managing candidate data within an applicant tracking system are key aspects of this position.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in staffing or recruiting in the construction industry with demonstrated ability to recruit across multiple levels of an organization.
  • Proven mastery of the full-cycle recruitment process from intake through offer and onboarding.
  • Demonstrated experience sourcing and mapping talent from multiple channels.
  • Hands-on experience with an HRIS or applicant tracking system; Paycom and LinkedIn experience preferred.
  • Experience managing external recruiting vendors such as search firms and job boards.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to balance multiple competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong partnerships with hiring managers, business leaders, and HR to support workforce planning and hiring needs.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the client’s culture, values, and roles to effectively communicate their story and opportunities to prospective candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements, create recruiting strategies, and develop interview and selection plans; serve as a trusted advisor by offering recruitment insights and best practices.
  • Source candidates using a variety of methods, including: networking, employee referrals, job postings, job and internship fairs, and proactive outreach.
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, coordinate interviewer feedback, complete reference checks, and make hiring recommendations or disposition decisions.
  • Manage 3-6 unique concurrent open requisitions (most evergreen with multiple openings) across all departments, including: field, Project Management, Estimating/Preconstruction, and corporate functions like Accounting/Finance and HR.
  • Adapt priorities effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment while ensuring compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations, including EEOC requirements.
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates and internal stakeholders to ensure a timely and positive recruitment process.
  • Track, analyze, and report recruiting metrics and hiring outcomes; regularly share insights with business leaders to inform strategy.
  • Manage candidate data and recruiting activity within Paycom's applicant tracking system.
