About the position

The Talent Acquisition Director at Ontic is responsible for leading the global talent acquisition strategy across the company's US and UK operations. This role involves collaborating with senior leadership to align talent management strategies with business goals, developing workforce plans, and enhancing the company's employer brand. The position requires a strong focus on stakeholder relationships and involves a significant amount of onsite presence and travel.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with C-suite and senior leadership to understand future business needs.
  • Create and align the talent management strategy with organizational goals.
  • Establish and execute a marketing strategy to acquire and promote talent.
  • Identify future resource constraints and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Develop global workforce plans articulating current and future talent requirements.
  • Present management information to provide insights on performance.
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on talent acquisition and management.
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development and local HR Directors on the talent management lifecycle.
  • Lead a global team of talent acquisition managers and professionals.
  • Utilize technology and data analytics to enhance talent acquisition processes.
  • Partner with Marketing to promote the company's employer brand and inclusion initiatives.
  • Develop site-specific Early Careers solutions in collaboration with local HRDs.
  • Establish relationships with educational institutions to promote Ontic.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
  • Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role in talent acquisition or management.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software, ideally Workday.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
