About the position

Impinj is a leading RAIN RFID provider and Internet of Things pioneer. We're inventing ways to connect every thing to the Internet - including retail apparel, retail general merchandise, healthcare items, automobile parts, airline baggage, food and much more. With more than 100 billion items connected to date, and multiple Fortune 500 enterprises around the world using our platform, we solve for a better understanding of our world. If it's a thing, we're working to connect it. Join Impinj and help us realize our vision of a boundless IoT- connecting trillions of everyday items to the Internet. As an intern in the Silicon Engineering Organization, you will have the opportunity to work with many silicon engineers on the endpoint IC product (tag) and on the E710 IC product(reader). The endpoint IC is a passive electronic responsible for responding to commands from Gen2 RFID readers using only RF modulation. You will work with digital designers, analog designers, test engineers, and systems engineers. Your project on creating python scripts to run on the E710 product line will allow for more granular control of any Gen2 related parameter from command, frequency, mode or power. Your work will directly improve silicon endpoint IC design, verification, and testing. This is a 3-month internship starting in June.
