About the position
The Dealer position at Belterra Casino Resort is responsible for delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers. This role involves providing prompt, accurate, and courteous dealing services to players while maintaining the integrity of the games. Dealers are also tasked with explaining game rules to patrons who may be unfamiliar with them, ensuring a welcoming and informative environment.
Responsibilities
- Provides superior customer service and positively impacts interactions with customers and employees.
- Handles difficult customer situations with resilience and maintains harmonious relationships with coworkers.
- Delivers prompt, accurate, and courteous service to players, utilizing high technical skill in dealing.
- Explains aspects of various games to gaming patrons as needed.
- Processes all cash and maintains proper handling and accounting for assigned property items.
- Maintains familiarity with other gaming and entertainment/service activities to provide accurate information to patrons.
- Keeps a thorough understanding of all standards, policies, and procedures of the Table Games Department.
Requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency in dealing blackjack or other required games, acquired through experience.
- Completion of dealer school is required.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
- Must obtain and maintain all appropriate licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
