About the position
The Principal Nuxeo Administrator will play a critical role in the modernization of the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) landscape by providing operational support and problem resolution for ECM platforms. This position involves monitoring, maintaining, and updating the Filenet and Documentum platforms while supporting the migration to Nuxeo SaaS environments. The role requires collaboration with management, delivery teams, and IT partners to ensure a positive experience for customers and associates.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and update the Filenet & Documentum platform and associated infrastructure.
- Support the modernization effort in migrating Documentum/Filenet to Nuxeo SaaS environments.
- Provide complex operational support and problem resolution for ECM platforms.
- Consult with management and IT partners on platform changes to enhance customer and associate experience.
- Perform Documentum upgrades and migrations to other ECM platforms.
- Install and configure Documentum and/or FileNet components and services efficiently.
- Create and use shell scripts for automation of systems tasks.
- Serve as an on-call resource for change management requests and maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience working with IBM FileNet, OpenText Documentum, Nuxeo or comparable ECM platform.
- 5+ years' experience in administration and support of an ECM platform.
- Ability to perform ECM upgrades and migrations.
- Demonstrable ability to install and configure Documentum components and services efficiently.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose issues quickly.
- Experience in creating and using shell scripts for automation.
Nice-to-haves
- Java/Shell/PowerShell programming experience.
- Migration tool experience.
- Tomcat/TCServer administration on Linux/Windows experience.
- Knowledge of cloud solutions for Enterprise Content Management.
- RDMS knowledge.
