About the position
The Retail Sales Representative (RSR) at GP Mobile serves as a brand ambassador for T-Mobile, engaging customers in a fast-paced retail environment. This role focuses on building relationships, understanding customer needs, and providing tailored solutions through hands-on demonstrations of products and services. RSRs are expected to complete training and continuously develop their skills while contributing to a positive customer experience and team initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers while providing a world-class customer experience.
- Help customers continue their shopping journey, whether online, through Customer Care, or in-store.
- Explore individual customer needs and provide hands-on demonstrations of the latest technology.
- Engage in side-by-side selling to find personalized solutions for customers.
- Approach service and sales needs with composure, integrity, and compassion.
- Become skilled in using digital tools during customer interactions and onboarding.
- Demonstrate T-Mobile's coverage and services to customers effectively.
- Complete training on T-Mobile's in-store experience and new skills.
- Maximize time on shift by seeking information and learning about innovations in wireless technology.
- Establish relationships with T-Mobile employees across channels to enhance customer experience and resolve issues.
- Identify and hand off small business leads to appropriate channels.
- Support team initiatives and foster an inclusive environment.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in a retail environment
