About The Position

You will be a member of a multi-disciplinary group of System, Hardware and Software Engineers. We are a growing business developing new products in an aggressive and competitive market. The new designs are exciting and technically challenging. Collins is hiring an entry level Systems Engineer to support programs for our US military and various international customers, keeping the world safe from foreign threats. We support multiple contracts and are seeking to fill roles across several open contracts – our goal is to align each new hire with a position that best suits their skills and allows for career growth. In this role, you will play a critical part in the design, development, and integration of products, from concept to production. You will collaborate closely with hardware and software engineers to ensure seamless system performance and deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs. This role is onsite, in Marlborough, Massachusetts. This role may be eligible for relocation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) obtained prior to start.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • Familiarity with the Systems Engineering V – from CONOPS development to Sustainment.
  • Familiarity with integration and testing including test procedures, test automation, test execution, and test reporting.
  • Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

  • Experience with communications and networking technologies.

  • Experience with developing requirements.
  • Experience with developing SysML diagrams.
  • Experience with scripting for analysis or build and test automation.
  • A current active Secret (or higher) Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate solutions within their target environment.
  • Execute Integration, Dry Run, and Formal Qualification Testing.
  • Analyze and document system behaviors.
  • Support system trade studies, requirements analysis, and allocation to subsystems.
  • Work with your team to solve difficult problems.
