About The Position

This role requires a Systems Engineer with experience in standard development processes, issue tracking, and documentation tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, systems engineering processes, and requirements management. Experience with Agile methodologies in Jira, managing technical documentation, and familiarity with security and compliance certification processes are essential.

Requirements

• Experience with standard development process, issue tracking, and documentation tools (Jira, Confluence, Gitlab).
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and systems engineering processes, requirements management and prioritization.
• Experience with implementing Agile processes in Jira using Boards, Dashboards, and Plans.
• Experience with managing technical engineering documentation: design documents, system and dataflow diagrams, requirements, test procedures, etc.
• Experience with security and compliance certification process and required artifacts.
• Seven (7) years’ experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Implement Agile processes in Jira using Boards, Dashboards, and Plans.
• Manage technical engineering documentation, including design documents, system and dataflow diagrams, requirements, and test procedures.
• Participate in the security and compliance certification process and prepare required artifacts.
