Our company is one of the most significant publicly traded water, wastewater service and natural gas providers in the U.S. We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst III to join our IT Applications team, specializing in SAP IS-U and FI-CA (Contract Accounting). This role serves as a key advisor to the business, delivering innovative solutions that support customer accounting, billing, and payment processes in a dynamic SAP environment. You’ll work cross-functionally with business leaders, IT teams, and external partners to design, configure, and optimize systems while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise applications
  • Strong experience with SAP IS-U and FI-CA (Contract Accounting)
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or ECC 6
  • Proven ability to analyze business requirements and deliver effective technical solutions
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to lead initiatives and work effectively in cross-functional teams

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of SAP Billing, CRM, and IS-U integrations

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, configure, and support SAP FI-CA and IS-U applications and processes
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions
  • Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex system and user issues
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address operational issues
  • Support and execute system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations
  • Create functional specifications, test plans, and documentation
  • Lead meetings and collaborate with vendors, consultants, and internal IT teams
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to improving IT processes and standards
