About the position

The Systems Analyst for Hardware & Supply Chain at Toast plays a crucial role in delivering systems that enhance operational visibility and efficiency for Senior Operations leaders and operations managers. This position focuses on defining functional requirements, collaborating with technical teams, and ensuring that the hardware fulfillment process meets customer needs. The analyst will work in a fast-paced environment, engaging with various stakeholders to build effective solutions and support ongoing product development.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with technical and non-technical teams to define, design, test and implement specific functional requirements of the system.
  • Updates and manages project and process documentation, representing dependencies in cross-functional forums.
  • Identifies, designs, and implements platform configurations in the application stack to meet defined business requirements.
  • Develops, implements, and tests detailed system design requirements in applications, including updates to 3rd party applications and collaboration tools.
  • Supports root cause analysis and remediation processes to resolve defects and issues reported by product/application teams and stakeholders.
  • Prepares summary release notes outlining functional and technical changes introduced by the product team.
  • Coordinates, plans, designs, and produces deliverables for the training phase.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an Analyst role delivering complex technical solutions.
  • Excellent understanding of Software Development Life Cycle Methodologies, particularly Agile Scrum.
  • Working experience using Git/Github and DevOps CI/CD processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal customers and team members.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Workato or similar iPaaS solutions.
  • Admin experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, or Zuora Billing+RevPro.
  • Basic development experience in Java, JavaScript, SQL, Python.
