About The Position

E.L. Blake Corporation is seeking a System Support Representative (SSR) to support U.S. Air Force mission planning operations at Maxwell AFB, Alabama. The selected candidate will maintain mission planning systems, software, map data, and associated equipment to ensure operational readiness in support of training exercises, deployments, and contingency operations. This position serves as a trusted technical resource to mission planning personnel and supports mission effectiveness through hands-on technical support and troubleshooting. This position offers the opportunity to directly support U.S. Air Force mission planning operations and contribute to mission readiness in a dynamic operational environment. As a System Support Representative, you will provide hands-on technical support, solve complex system challenges, and play an important role in ensuring mission planning systems remain secure, operational, and ready to support critical defense missions.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification (required within 6 months of hire)
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Aeronautical Science, or related field; OR four (4) years of relevant IT experience
  • Experience supporting operational IT systems and troubleshooting hardware, software, and system-related issues
  • Ability to document technical issues and resolutions and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel
  • Prior experience supporting DoD, USAF, mission planning, or mission-critical operational environments

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience supporting U.S. Air Force mission planning systems or applications
  • Familiarity with military aviation operations, exercises, or contingency environments
  • Knowledge of mission planning software, mapping tools, geospatial data systems, or DoD IT infrastructure

Responsibilities

  • Maintain mission planning systems, software, map data, and associated equipment to ensure operational readiness and compliance with USAF requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and system-related issues impacting mission planning operations.
  • Perform system updates, patches, data loads, and configuration management activities while maintaining data integrity and operational security.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to mission planning personnel and serve as a technical liaison with government customers and program leadership.
  • Support mission planning exercises, deployments, and contingency operations while identifying opportunities for system improvement and increased operational effectiveness.
