Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • 4 or more years of experience with system software architecture and development including:
  • Demonstrated expertise in software interoperability, cross-component protocols, and interfaces.
  • Proficiency in frameworks, drivers, and firmware development.
  • Strong skills in high-level software design and technical requirement definition.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex technical challenges.
  • Industry experience in evaluating and implementing state-of-the-art software technologies.
  • Passion for collaborative problem-solving and driving technical innovation.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in customer-facing technical engagements, requirement gathering, and solution development.

Responsibilities

  • Define end-to-end system software architecture, including software structure, firmware, drivers, frameworks, cross-component interfaces, and interoperability protocols.
  • Provide technical direction and pathfinding for software development and validation.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand technical requirements and deliver innovative solutions that meet their needs.
  • Interact with technologists across Intel and the broader industry to assess technical feasibility and ensure alignment with market trends.
  • Translate complex technical requirements into actionable development priorities and architectural designs.
  • Deliver high-level software design and architecture inputs to support Intel's product goals.
