Responsibilities
- Supporting the development, integration, and test of various advanced communication systems for IRAD, CRAD, and contracted programs.
- Integrating the piece parts of the system to ensure connection and communication.
- Assisting in buildup, development, integration, and test of various systems.
- Debugging and troubleshooting system related deficiencies.
- Performing various test engineering activities.
- Working within LINUX operating system environments.
- Scripting including reading, modifying, and analyzing existing scripts, creating scripts, and bunding high level scripts.
Requirements
- Knowledge in some areas of command and control, system integration and test, and defense systems.
- Comfortable in Linux OS Command Line Interface.
- Experience writing scripts.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with system level hardware and software integration.
- Experience managing a system architecture.
- Experience with software compiling and runtime.
- Familiarity with SW configuration management (e.g., XML).
- RF Radio integration experience.
- Familiarity with the Data Plane Development Kit (DPDK).
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot system issues.
