About the position

The Systems Engineer I position at Yuma Regional Medical Center (YRMC) is responsible for delivering mission-critical infrastructure while ensuring high levels of availability, performance, and security. This role involves independently performing complex tasks related to the installation, deployment, modification, testing, documentation, and upgrading of storage, server, and other enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

  • Publishes applications in presentation server and tests the application for connectivity.
  • Troubleshoots Citrix printers, profiles, resource thresholds, installation manager, and Citrix Farm Configuration.
  • Improves and adjusts the Virtual Desktop system.
  • Manages and supports NetScaler Gateways.
  • Maintains accurate and updated documentation for procedures and processes with Citrix systems.
  • Utilizes lean concepts to develop, document, and execute processes and procedures.
  • Troubleshoots failed jobs with EPS Console.
  • Updates Print Drivers on servers and EPS Server with the latest Client Pack.
  • Deploys packages via EPIC Kuiper to various web platforms.
  • Maintains and registers all hyperspace URLs and updates client packs for Citrix presentation servers.
  • Configures interconnect instances and maintains accurate documentation for EPIC Client Systems/Administration.
  • Performs system administrator functions for various system/server components.
  • Manages and monitors all installed systems and infrastructure, maintaining security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
  • Participates in the design of information and operational support systems.
  • Oversees day-to-day maintenance tasks and support of various systems to maintain a highly available infrastructure.
  • Designs, plans, and coordinates project work efforts with vendors and organizational staff for construction initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 2+ years of related experience.
