Swim Lead

About the position

Join our team as a swim lesson instructor where you will create engaging and safe swim lesson instruction by fostering an environment that emphasizes fun, safety, and inclusivity. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing activities for participants of all ages in a recreation setting. This position is perfect for those who enjoy teaching children and want to make a positive impact in their lives through swimming lessons.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and direct activities for all ages in a recreation setting
• Provide support, as needed, for all participants and staff to create an inclusive environment
• Work as part of a team to ensure quality programs for all ages
• Follow staff policies and procedures, ensuring all staff and participants follow the established policies and procedures
• Provide a safe, fun and appropriate experience for all participants

Requirements

• Must be 15 years of age or older
• Current First Aid and CPR certification is required, or must be able to obtain
• Must enjoy teaching children
• Must have good communication skills
