About the position

As a CBRE Sustainability Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of global data, analytics, and reporting for sustainability initiatives within a CBRE enterprise client account. This position is part of the Energy & Sustainability ("E&S") function, where you will be centrally responsible for enhancing the comprehensiveness and accuracy of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) data. Your work will deliver actionable insights and assist in the deployment, management, and optimization of a comprehensive E&S Program aimed at improving the client's sustainability performance and advancing their climate action journey. In this remote role, you will collaborate with the Energy and Sustainability team both on-site and remotely to meet client goals and enhance current service offerings. You will collect and analyze monthly utility bills, ensuring their accuracy and adherence to rates and tariffs, while resolving any issues that may arise. Your analytical skills will be crucial as you investigate variances to understand and communicate trends and root causes. Additionally, you will contribute to annual assurance and disclosure processes, preparing and cataloging data for the client's greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory, regional regulatory filings, and other public disclosures. You will also develop reports and dashboards to monitor compliance, savings, and the overall effectiveness of sustainability projects and programs. Supporting CBRE and client leadership stakeholders with timely reports and addressing ad-hoc requests related to carbon, energy, water, and waste goals will be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will recommend, develop, and implement continuous improvement strategies to automate data ingestion into a new reporting platform, enhancing the quality and timely availability of ESG data. Assisting with the implementation of the client's energy and sustainability strategy, including ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 audits, energy management programs, and other savings and decarbonization initiatives, will also be key aspects of your role.
