About the position

The Sushi Roller position at Yellowstone Club is a seasonal role focused on assisting the Sushi Chef in delivering exceptional food quality and dining experiences for members and guests. This role involves preparing a variety of sushi items while ensuring adherence to recipes and health standards, contributing to the overall culinary excellence of the club.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all sushi items are prepared according to the recipe and photographic guidelines.
• Ensure that the recipes/photos are posted for all culinary personnel to see.
• Ensure that all culinary outlet personnel is working together and supporting each other in a professional manner.
• Regularly communicate with the Sushi Chef regarding culinary matters.
• Maintain a lean and orderly cooking and preparation station and adhere to health and safety standards.
• Ensure kitchen and Health Department sanitation requirements are maintained at all times.

Requirements

• Experience in sushi preparation or culinary arts preferred.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards in food preparation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain high standards of food quality.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in a high-end culinary environment.
• Familiarity with various sushi techniques and styles.
