About the position
The Survey CAD Technician will support the Civil Engineering Land Development Department by preparing site development plans and designing civil infrastructure. This role involves working closely with licensed Professional Engineers on various land development projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness of drawings, and utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
Responsibilities
- Work with licensed Professional Engineer on challenging land development projects for residential and commercial sites
- Review plans with Project Manager of all drawings for completeness and accuracy
- Work proficiently with AutoCAD Civil 3D 2018 - 2021
- Organize drawings to company standards and policies
- Create profiles and cross sections
- Create existing condition surfaces from cogo points
- Create pipe networks and pressure pipe networks
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- 2+ years' experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal skills
