About the position

Ardurra is seeking a motivated and talented Survey CAD Technician with at least 4 years of survey experience to join their Coeur d'Alene, ID team. The role involves working on various survey projects, including land development, municipal, transportation, and aviation. The ideal candidate will have drafting experience and a solid understanding of survey principles, particularly in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation/Open Roads Designer.

Responsibilities

• Complete survey-related drawings in the office.
• Read and understand field notes and sketches completed by survey crews.
• Perform office calculations for surveys and construction staking.
• Utilize prior survey maps and information effectively.
• Perform basic office duties including downloading, data import and reduction, field note scanning and filing, calculations, and data checks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with drafting records of survey, corner records, subdivision plats, and exhibits.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation/Open Roads Designer.
• Knowledge of boundary, construction, and topographic surveying.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as a team player.
• Willingness to learn and maintain a positive attitude.
• Ability to process and reduce point cloud data is a plus.
• Working knowledge of ArcMap is a plus.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel is a plus but not mandatory.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Open Roads Design (ORD) is highly preferred.
• Ability to navigate various locations and settings of the company.
