About the position

The Surveillance Operator at Four Winds Casino is responsible for maintaining continuous surveillance of all gaming areas and the entire property to ensure the safety and security of guests and assets. This entry-level position involves monitoring activities, identifying potential risks, and reporting suspicious behavior while adhering to gaming regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all areas of the property at all times to identify potential security and safety risks.
• Utilize necessary equipment to identify, record, document, and report illegal or suspicious activities.
• Maintain knowledge of all rules and regulations of the Gaming Commission and ensure adherence throughout the property.
• Protect casino assets and gaming integrity through thorough monitoring of activities, especially on the gaming floor.
• Complete daily reports on surveillance activities and incidents.
• Support employees, supervisors, and management in protecting assets in their respective departments.
• Coordinate with the Security Department for further investigation of matters discovered during surveillance.
• Facilitate information flow by attending departmental meetings and ensuring accurate records and reports.
• Make suggestions for changes in policies and procedures to enhance asset protection.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of and experience with closed circuit television equipment preferred.
• Excellent observational and communication skills.
• Ability to detect schemes or cheating activity aimed at the casino or its guests.
• Possession of a Level 2 Gaming License.
