About the position
The Surveillance Investigator position at Command Investigations LLC is a part-time role focused on conducting covert investigations related to work compensation, fraud, and surveillance. The role offers a unique opportunity to engage in diverse investigative activities, providing a steppingstone into various law enforcement and investigative careers. Candidates will be involved in monitoring and tracking subjects, generating detailed reports, and utilizing advanced surveillance technology.
Responsibilities
- Conduct surveillance on subjects during their daily routines.
- Engage in both vehicular and on-foot pursuits while maintaining covert operations.
- Develop pre-surveillance plans tailored to specific cases.
- Generate comprehensive reports detailing observed activities and submit video evidence.
- Communicate consistently with the team leader regarding surveillance activities and tactical approaches.
Requirements
- Approximately 1 year of experience in Work Compensation/Fraud/Mobile and Stationary surveillance.
- Hold a valid Private Investigator license where applicable.
- Possess a high school diploma or GED.
- Minimum age requirement of 21 years or older.
- Ability to travel and accommodate overnight stays for remote assignments when necessary.
- Proficiency in using web-based technology and digital surveillance equipment.
- Flexible availability to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
- Capability to start work as early as 5:00 am, with occasional evening shifts.
- Successful completion of DMV and background checks, with a valid Driver's License.
- Proficiency and confidence in driving skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with digital video cameras and covert cameras.
- Familiarity with report writing and documentation.
