About the position

As a Surveillance Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our retail locations and corporate offices. Your primary responsibility will be to act as the eyes and ears of our operations, utilizing advanced access control and CCTV technology to monitor activities and maintain a secure environment for both patrons and staff. This position is not just about surveillance; it involves actively engaging with the action, reviewing and archiving video evidence, and keeping a vigilant watch over sportsbook activities. You will be tasked with deterring fraud and suspicious behavior while adhering to established procedures and continuously enhancing your skills in the field. In this dynamic role, you will provide top-notch security services remotely for Draft Kings retail sportsbooks and office locations. Your duties will include operating cutting-edge technology to monitor sportsbook activities, archiving video evidence, and ensuring that all systems are functioning correctly. You will need to stay proactive in monitoring all sportsbook areas and personnel to identify any suspicious activity, thereby helping to deter fraud and theft effectively. Additionally, you will play a key role in training new team members and contributing to ongoing departmental training initiatives. Collaboration is essential in this position, as you will work closely with local law enforcement and gaming authorities as needed to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Your ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays on a 12-hour rotating schedule, will be vital to the success of your role. Responsibilities

• Provide top-notch security services remotely for Draft Kings retail sportsbooks and office locations, ensuring the safety of people and property.
• Operate advanced access control and CCTV technology to monitor sportsbook activities and archive video evidence.
• Proactively monitor all sportsbook areas and personnel to spot suspicious activity and deter fraud and theft.
• Play a key role in training new team members and contributing to continuous departmental training.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and gaming authorities as needed to ensure safety and compliance.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security or remote surveillance experience is desired.
• Familiarity with common productivity tools such as Microsoft Office or Google Docs.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, overnight, weekends, and holidays on a 12-hour rotating schedule.
• The ability to obtain required gaming license(s).
• Previous experience working in a 24x7x365 Security Operations Center is desired but not required.
