About the position

The IRIS Consultant Supervisor at TMG by Molina Healthcare is responsible for leading and managing a team of IRIS Consultants. This role involves implementing performance management strategies, ensuring compliance with timelines and benchmarks, and providing coaching on essential soft skills. The supervisor also assists in the development and review of plans, supports daily operations, and acts as a liaison between various stakeholders to ensure service excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership management and supervision to a team of IRIS Consultants (ICs).
  • Identify and implement effective performance management strategies for the team.
  • Ensure ICs meet timelines and benchmarks while coaching them on necessary soft skills.
  • Assist ICs in developing and reviewing plans and support day-to-day operations.
  • Establish professional relationships with each IC and provide individual attention and support.
  • Participate in the recruitment, hiring, orientation, and onboarding of new ICs.
  • Provide ongoing support, mentoring, and coaching to ICs, including performance feedback.
  • Review and utilize data and reports to manage ICA requirements and identify proactive solutions.
  • Conduct monthly reviews of IC records, focusing on timelines, documentation standards, and plan accuracy.
  • Review and authorize participants' plans, budget amendments, and expense requests.
  • Act as a liaison between the Fiscal Employer Agency and the ICA, assisting participants with provider billing and tracking receipts.
  • Relay difficult messages to ICs and participants regarding programmatic changes or budget reductions.
  • Assist ICs with sensitive situations, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA.
  • Act as a change management conduit, interpreting program, policy, or protocol changes.
  • Collaborate with staff, participants, and stakeholders to meet service excellence standards.
  • Engage in outreach and networking opportunities with external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, human services, counseling, nursing, special education, or a closely related field (or four years of relevant experience).
  • 2+ years of direct experience in delivering social services to target groups served by IRIS.
  • Demonstrated competencies in professionalism, leadership, performance management, and team development.
  • Knowledge of Long-Term Care programs and principles of self-determination.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage performance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Skype, online portals, and databases.
  • Resourceful with knowledge of community resources, proactive and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and be self-motivated.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills to handle multiple projects.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and math skills.

  • At least one year of supervisory experience.
